As I am an attorney who does estate administration I probably attend more funerals than most. Funerals are awkward and it isn’t easy coming up with the right things to say.

David Kessler, author of “The Needs of the Dying," does an excellent job of providing a list of the worst—and best—things to say to the deceased’s loved ones in the article linked to below.
